Reuters: New European sanctions would affect nuclear deal: Iran official

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Any new European sanctions against Iran will have a direct effect on the nuclear deal struck between world powers and Tehran, Iran’s deputy foreign minister said Friday, according to state media.

“In case some European countries are following steps to put non-nuclear sanctions against Iran in order to please the American president, they will be making a big mistake and they will see the direct result of that on the nuclear deal,” Abbas Araqchi said, according to state media.

“It’s better that European countries continue their current action to persuade America to keep its promises in the nuclear deal and for that country to effectively execute the deal in all its parts with good will and in a productive atmosphere.”

Iran of course will not walk away...however, they just might decide to go forward with it nuke plans on the excuse that the original understanding was cast aside. That, then, will get Saudis to acquire their nukes, as they have now promised. And that, alas, will spur Turkey to fulfill an earlier pledge that if others in the region acquire nukes, then they will seek them too

You do not have to read far into the book "Golden Fleece" to go "Aw Shit!"

Mr Smith--
It would be easier and more to the point, if you simply told us what you belive, want to say, rather than give us links to explore to see if somehow there is a connection to the post.

I do not say this to be nasty but simply as a suggestion

Fred,

I have liked for the book several times in a decade. I have looked at lists of sci-fi novels form the time I read the book and did key word searches on the AI and ship's names. Using certain names 'electronically' jams certain searches.

I am going to reads the book not because the author is a great writer. I cannot recall and I am probably not the right guy to make that critique of writing. All in all the book was an enjoyable read. I won't vouch for the guy being a great novelist, because again I do not have the experience or training to make that judgment. I like the book for its germinal ideas even if any particular one of them is not the authors. He put them together well and made a valid point.

That said it would behoove you to read up to the part where they use the telescope. If I am wanting to read a book written by a Canadian of all things maybe you should take note.
